I Am Man's Wolf

So, I've been writing a story for quite some time now (since early 2010), in Finnish, and I finally thought it deserved to be translated. The name is, as the title of this post indicates, I Am Man's Wolf. Now, I might still tweak it a bit, since I don't personally like it very much.
The name, of course, comes from the latin phrase 'Homo homini lupus', and I've loved that sentence (the way it sounds like in Finnish) ever since I first heard it when I was young, and when I had the idea to the story, which I most likely got from an old fairy tale or similar, I knew it would be the perfect title. However, I didn't want to use exactly that one, so I changed it to 'I am' man's wolf.
Here's the basic idea of the story. A young man, or a boy, depends, a male human being somewhere close to his 20s, has always had a fascination to a cold northern country, and during his visits there, he has fallen in love with a local girl, and they are planning to run away together. Or better, the boy - Ethan - would very much like to take the girl - Aira - home with him. His home would most likely be somewhere in North America.
However, Aira's mother, who is some sort of a witch, finds out about their plan, and curses Ethan to spend his life as half a wolf, half a man. When the day comes, he will turn into a wild wolf, only being able to return to his human form in the night. The effects of the change will get stronger over time, though, which means he would spend less time being himself, or at least be completely insane while being human.
Aira, who is desperately in love with him, decides to do something about it, when she learns that he is still roaming the forests around the village she lives in. Her plan is to tame the wild wolf, and be able to spend time with the boy whatever happens, or whatever form he is in.

I will not reveal much more, since I haven't managed to write more than this. I do know, what will eventually happen, but it's better to keep some of the plot twists to myself, isn't it?
Now, this story is somewhat different from all the other's I've written, but shares some very important similarities as well. The similarities are basically in how they deal with desperate love. The differences... Well, I Am Man's Wolf is mainly fantasy, as you may notice. All other writings of mine deal with reality, even if they might have some supernatural factors here and there. This one is mainly fantasy, bordering slightly on reality.
